We stop in here every time we're in Chattanooga now. The servers and bartenders are always friendly, funny and helpful. The food is consistently above average for a casual restaurant, and we get to try their local beers. Strongly recommended you visit when in town.

Order this:

1 Maibock
1 Order of the Salmon Dip
1 Rare Bison burger with cheddar (and bacon, if you dare).

If I was on death row, this would be my last meal request.

We visited the Terminal twice this trip. The first visit was on Saturday evening. Looking for a smoke-free dinner, we found a line out the door of people waiting to be seated. After some food at a different restaurant, we returned for a couple home brews. Our booth in the bar area was comfortable and quiet enough for a nice conversation. The beer was great; this night, we had the Magnum IPA. We decided to return for lunch on Sunday.

Sunday's late morning crowd was very relaxed. We had a burger and sandwich (The Dirty Hippie) that were both very good. We decided to eat upstairs this time; a great choice. The old building has been nicely refurbished. It is bright, open, and relaxing. Our window seat yielded a cool view of the Choo-Choo. We tried a couple more of The Terminal's own brews and were not disappointed. The stout is very smooth. After finishing our two lunch pints, we got a growler of Magnum to bring home. Although the service was a bit slow on Sunday morning, our overall impression of the Terminal's staff is very good; very friendly. It will certainly be a stop any time we are back in Chattanooga.

We eat lunch here many times a week and, yes, I do have a local 'brew' when having lunch. Love the red ales, the atmosphere and the interesting menu. Service is always solid and the food is consistent. They make a great craft beer - actually many great craft beers! If you are in town for a visit, try whatever is the seasonal or special as you can always come back and get the consistent regulars. Atmosphere is very pub like with great, old wood furniture, booths and tables.

Had to go again while we were in town. This is a true pub atmosphere with the luxury of having tables & booths which really makes it cozy. I had their oatmeal/chocolate Stout. What a wonderful dark chocolate taste.
Tried their pizza this time. Very good. The crust is fluffy & not soggy. (Big Italian meat). I watched the gal next to me eating one of their stuffed sandwiches...I'll try that next time (I'm certain hubby will go for their Lamb burger).
For the non meat eaters they have a large variety too: veggie lasagna, bean burgers & lots of veggie pizzas.
Very friendly people (bartender & customers). I even tried the new Jack Daniels Honey shot on the rocks. Very nice.
In the 3 yrs coming here we have never been disappointed. Even took home a Growler of their Maibock. Will drink some & make cheese soup with some, then drinks some more while the soup cooks.
