I stayed here in April 2012 on business. The room was exceptionally clean. This seems to be a fairly new hotel. The bed was not quite as comfortable nor the bedding as nice as what you will see at the newer Hampton Inns or Holiday Inn Express, but it is adequate. The front desk personnel were very efficient and friendly. The hotel is situated on the top of a hill and offers great views of Lookout Mountain. The only real problem is the WiFi. You can get connected, but it slows to a CRAWL. Very frustrating for a business traveler. Miss Audrey handles the breakfast area and does a wonderful job. The breakfast was great! ( bacon & eggs, waffles, etc.) If you are a family looking for vacation lodging that is near the attractions, this place id great. If you are traveling on business, beware the slow internet.

Room Tip: Ask for a mountain view.

There is no need to post any photos. The photos you see are exactly how it look.

The staff was so friendly. They helped out with dining and sights information. Again at breakfast they were walking among the guest asking about their dinners the night before and the sights they had seen.

The breakfast was good. It included waffles, bagels and breads, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal and grits, fresh hot food such as sausage and eggs, refrigerated sausage biscuits, cereals, etc.

The room was clean and comfy.

The location was great. The views of the mountains was really nice.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the mountains

Had a great experience at the hotel! Rooms were spacious and clean! Breakfast was abundant and of great quality! The employees were very nice and constantly doing their job and making sure everything was in order! You could clearly see how attentive management was! The only small issue was the noise of the highway that could be heard from the rooms, but was not even relevant compared to all of the hotel's great qualities! Will come back if in the area again!

We have family in Chattanooga and we visit there several times per year. After discovering this Fairfield Inn, we never will stay anywhere else again! The manager, Scott, and his entire staff treat us like family and go out of their way to make sure our stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable, although a 'standard king' room is rather small if you like room to spread out, so if you need more space, go for the 'king studio' or the 'double queen'. The rooms are exceptionally clean, as is the entire property. The location is easy on and off to the Interstate and is not right downtown, but is still conveniet enough to be practical. We always feel safe staying here, unlike other places we've stayed in Chattanooga, some areas can be quite 'seedy'. It is close to several food choices and a Walmart. The free breakfast bar works great for us, despite sometimes being very busy, but even when busy, the staff could not be better, keeping up with stocking food and cleaning. The pool is bigger than at most hotels in this price range and is well maintained. There is no doubt this is a well managed hotel and if you take the time to visit with Scott, the manger, you will find he is a true gentleman and is knowledgable about travel in general. He helped us with ideas for not only things in the Chattanooga area, but with our travel plans farther South in both the Gulf Coast areas and the Southeast coastal areas. We have stayed here many times over the years since it was built and have never been disappointed and highly recommend this property.

Room Tip: As others have mentioned, we like rooms that are on the higher floors because they seem more quiet. Also, we request rooms facing the front because we like the mountain view and don't hear the traffic from the nearby Interstate. Be careful not to miss the entrance to this property, since it can easily be missed.
