I am an employee with IHG and traveled for a night quick to Chattanooga. This hotel was the perfect place for me to stay. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly. The hotel is conveniently located by places to eat within walking distance too.

Nice, clean hotel with free parking for IHG members. Check-in was quick, bed was super comfy, and we enjoyed the b&w photography in the room, with historical Chattanooga sites. The toiletries were from the Bath & Body Works brand, which was nice. Breakfast had chobani yogurt and nice hot chocolate/tea/coffee setup, with typical eggs, sausage links, cereal, and bagels (eggs and bagels were both awful). Overall pretty good stay, and would stay there again. Only issue, and this is not the hotel's fault, is that there is construction going on from the hotel, all the way down the block to where you would catch the free electric shuttle near the Read House. Currently the sidewalk is GONE and you cannot get there on foot. So we ended up having to drive into downtown (for aquarium & Imax) and pay to park on the street, which is something we were trying to avoid.

Recently spent a night here while attending a wedding. I had a good experience with this hotel.

The inside was very clean and the room was well kept. The feel of the hotel was modern, as was the room. It's located right on edge of downtown, so you're extremely close to all the food and entertainment Chattanooga provides. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

The only issue I has was that the rooms on the side facing the road are a little noisy. There was a bit of road noise in the evening and morning, mostly from larger trucks passing by, but for the most part it was not a big deal. I'm sure on the side facing away from the road, there is little to no road noise.

Overall, a really great place to stay. I definitely recommend it.

Room tip: If you can, ask for a room on the side away from the street, less noise.

This hotel is not within walking distance to the zoo and aquarium however it is just a short drive a few blocks away. The neighborhood just on the other side of the hotel is a little sketchy and had us a bit concerned. We did have trouble purchasing gas at two of the local stations and didn’t feel safe being out after dark alone.

The hotel was very clean and our room was ready when we arrived. The hotel staff is great very southern charming hospitality. Breakfast was the normal fare but they were out of a few things because the hotel was very busy.

Great hotel located close to a lot of great things to do and places to eat in downtown Chattanooga. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and our kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. The breakfast had lots of choices and was actually pretty good, especially when compared to other hotels' breakfasts. Clerks were friendly and helpful. Only negatives for us were that the hotel only had one crib and it was already in use (so we had to get creative to put our 6 m/o to bed), and you have to pay almost 9 bucks to park if you're not a rewards member. It's a bit steep price-wise for a Holiday Inn Express, but it's literally within walking distance to everything. Will stay again next time in Chattanooga.
