A great place to meander. Rembrant's has a lovely garden patio for a quiet conversation. The Hunter Museum is top notch.

“Don't miss this if you are already downtown Chattanooga”
Reviewed February 4, 2012

The title says it all. If you are already in downtown Chattanooga, one of the hidden revitalized downtowns in all the USA, and you DON'T go to the art district, then SHAME ON YOU! Go visit! Its awesome, and small. You won't forget the larger than life size horse made out of driftwood, only the driftwood itself is bronze! Artists are like that aren't they? You are amazed at a driftwood horse, go up to it and knock on the wood, and its metal! One of several pleasant surprises that await you in the art district. Walking across a major highway on an overhead walkway that has glass you can see through is an experience also! Enjoy the quaint coffee shops and restaurants! You'll remember this place. Don't miss it!

“Easy Walk, Nice Views, outdoor art”
Reviewed February 2, 2012

We enjoyed walking this area and seeing the outdoor sculptures by Walnut Street bridge and the art museum. Bluff View bakery was also open (noon to 5) to purchase artisan breads and pretzels. Its not a large area and there are several galleries and restaurant with views.

“Excellence abounds”
Reviewed January 30, 2012

This place is incredible. The owner is a medical Dr., but is also a horticulturist - AND IT SHOWS !!! The grounds are gorgeous throughout. This is like a bit of a European style village on the bluff of the river in Chattanooga. The Bluff View Inn is comprised of three old historic houses, full of beautiful antiques. I recommend a stay here. They have several places to eat. Back Inn Cafe, high end wonderful food with an excellend view of the river. Antonio's Tratortia, relaxed Italian restaurant extraordinaire. And Rembrants Coffee Shop, a local favorite for coffee, food and the like. The District also has it's own hand crafted chocolatier, coffee roastery, and bakery. YUMMO !!! They also have museums and art everywhere. This is a must see in Chattanooga. Visit here soon !!! ~ Jeffrey Stephenson
