We obtained triple tickets for Lookout Mountain, Rose Falls and Rock City. Whilst we ran out of time for Rock City, we managed the other two and were blown away by the natural beauty and breathtaking views. The incline railway was first, and I must admit being a tad nervous as the incline got steeper and steeper but this was tempered by the sheer engineering inventiveness of this train and the knowledge that it is completely safe. At the top, the view was incredible, and it's worth paying the quarter for the use of the telescope. The gift shop was OK - try some of the baked goods. Ruby Falls, at the top of a bit of a winding road (lovely to drive but my wife was a bit scared) with a good sized car park. Here the visitors centre was very attractive, with a good selection of souvenirs and snacks. We spent almost 4 hours on the two things we did and ran out of time.
