After seeing the Atlanta aquarium the ocean side was a little disappointing but the river side was amazing. We had a great time.

It's pretty expensive, but you can spend about four hours going through what is probably one of the best aquariums in the country spread over two buildings.

The range of fish and hands on experiences were fabulous. We learnt a lot about a variety of water creatures and had great fun throughout. The live butterfly enclosure we walked through was an added bonus.

We visited both the salt water and fresh water parts of the aquarium. Parking was an issue - very difficult to park in downtown. The cost of admission is pretty steep - over $50 for both my husband and I and that did not include the IMAX. The displays were tremendous and the penguin exhibit was fantastic. I would recommend you spend a lot of time here - we were kind of rushed and plan on going back to spend more time.

In the river building exhibit the best part was the otters but the seahorse exhit and the bird show weren't far behind. The ocean building has the most amazing jellyfish exhibit I have ever seen, there is at least 5 different species of jellyfish and they are beautiful. There is a place where you can touch stingrays and a person there to tell you about them. There's sharks and peguins and just tons of animals. It was a great time, I would go again.
