Our children LOVE to visit the Creative Discovery Museum. There are so many things to do you either have to stay all day or come back!

“Must see if you have little ones”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

This is a great place if you have little ones. There is so much for them to see and do and in such a wide age range. When my boys were small we went here many many times.

“Good fun for little ones”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

Our four year old loved it. Lots of hands on exploration. It was perfect for a rainy afternoon during our visit. Great downtown location. Print out the online coupon.

“Great Concept, Not Well Cared For”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

Went to "Free Family Night" and took three grandchildren. Obviously the place was packed, which is to be expected.
What was disappointing, the museum was not well-kept and not very clean, but the worst part was many of the exhibits are in tremendous need of repair and/or replacement. Many of the interactive exhibits either operate poorly or not at all. The ant farm, which would ordinarily be very interesting to see, was a sad display with almost all of the ants, dead, piled one on top of the other.
Yes, this was free, but it would have been all the same if we had paid.
This is not the first disappointing trip to the Creative Discovery Museum.

We value your feedback. We are in the process of updating several of our exhibits. We also appreciate your concern for our ant exhibit. This is a new exhibit and we are working to ensure the very best guest experience possible. Many do not realize that most insects respond to the changing of the seasons. Several insects, including ants, go dormant during the fall and winter. When this happens, they bury the other ants as part of their natural instinct. However, we will address your concerns with the ant exhibit. Thank you again for your feedback.
