Was a wonderful experience! Kids (5&3) LoVED it. However, I felt it was overpriced for admissions. Worth it in the end however.

“Great fun for children”
Reviewed May 16, 2011

My six year old loved this museum. We stayed about 3 hours, and he was very sad to leave. There are sections with water play, climbing area, music, inventing, a little library, an outside rooftop play area, and lots more. He had fun climbing to the top and seeing the view. Great children's museum.

“Kids loved it...didn't want to leave”
Reviewed March 27, 2011

We stopped here as a fun activity to do half way through our trip down to Florida. We spent about 2 hours but definitely could have spent longer. The kids (aged 3 &5) loved it. They particularly liked getting into the sand to clean off the dinosaur bones, playing some of the musical instruments, putting on a little show in the same stage area and the various art stations including stamping, clay and drawing with markers on mirrors. The area set up for kids under 4 was like playing house with all the accessories. It was a good day to be there, very quiet, just 1 school group and they didn't even have the run of the place. The only negative was that we couldn't get out on the roof because of the weather, nothing anyone could do about that. Worthwhile, particularly with a coupon for $1 off from the museums website.

“Fun for the kids!”
Reviewed March 1, 2011

My four year old could play here all day. In fact, on one visit he was kicking and screaming when we left. There is a lot to do and see here. Be sure to wear something comfortable because you will be climbing around trying to keep up with the little ones. And you could spend half a day here for sure.

“The most amazing Children's museum”
Reviewed August 27, 2010

We went to Chattanooga for a week's vacation and I wish we had gone to this museum earlier in our trip. There was something for each of our children, ages 12,10 and 2 and even us adult "children". We were exploring and making music right along with the kids. I have always wanted to play a harp and a steel drum and I got to do both in one day here! I can't say enough good things about this place.
