This tourist attraction was very pretty an interesting. Wish they took small groups however bc you seem to not always be able to hear the guide and it seems a little over crowded. They were very busy though so keep the wait time down i guess they have to take larger groups.

This was our first time to Ruby Falls. We decided to do the Haunted Cavern, which is only available on weekends in October. It was great! Very scary with many surprises along the way.

The only thing that disappointed me a little was the fact that you don't get to see the big waterfall. I thought for sure they would include that, but it was not. I guess they want you to pay more money and come back to see it.

The price was a little steep. $23 bucks per adult. I wouldn't pay it again, but I would recommend it to others.

I would not recommend this for young kids. I had to keep reminding myself that I wasn't really in any danger. Also, if you have trouble with tight spaces, I wouldn't visit. There were like 15 of us in a very small elevator at one point.

Overall, very fun and unique way to spend an October night.

The tour through the cave to the falls is an hour round trip. Probably 20-30 minutes of this is just standing around waiting and a couple of the waiting areas really stank like dirty mop water. The cave itself has been overly commercialized and it was a bit sad to see most of the stalagmite destroyed over time. The falls were really cool and definitely worth seeing.

This cave has been modified to be very accessible for most travelers. It appears as if a lot of the natural mineral formations in the cave have been contaminated, however, with new laws protecting caves, it should recover in a few hundred years or so. Still, there are lots of very interesting shapes and elements of the cave to see and photograph. The half mile walk to view the waterfall is absolutely beautiful. It's a very calming view and I wonder how the first humans who found it felt when they saw it in its natural form. It's a very interesting place to visit and there's a good sized play area after leaving the cave for children, a snack bar, beer, outdoor TV and a nice place to relax before your next adventure.
