Yesterday we went for the first time to Cindo de Mayo Mexican Restaurant just outside of Nashville, TN, and we started out with the special ... a Margarita Pitcher, which was delicious. The server was polite and made recommendations, which we appreciated. We ordered a combo plate of 3 different Enchilladas and a couple of Tamales. The best enchilladas were the cheese and chicken. My husband had ordered the spinach and they were overcooked for our taste. The salsa is delicious and the chips are not greasy. The rice was one of the best Mexican style we have had. Our only complaint was that the middle of the enchilladas was not hot. The plates were very hot but the food itself was just warm. That will not prevent us from going back or from recommending you go.
