We stayed here as part of a visit to Badlands National Park. Very clean and comfortable. Also located conveniently to the park. Breakfast is included (which is good since food options around are very limited!)

Stayed: September 2013, traveled with family

We were driving from the Badlands to Wall, SD when we saw these cabins near the road. Each cabin is beautifully furnished, with little extra touches like black iron "moose" curtain tiebacks, etc. They are very well maintained. The cabins that face the road have a little porch that is great for relaxing with a cocktail or just unwinding after a long drive. The rate was a little higher than we had intended on paying (we were going to be on the road for three weeks, so we were trying to stick pretty close to our budget) but we splurged on the $90 rate since the cabin was so nice. Breakfast is included in the gift shop/office, but the variety wasn't great (hard boiled eggs, sausage gravy on toast) but it's something to get you started in the morning!

Room Tip: The cabins with the porches facing the road are the best (in our opinion).

Stayed at Frontier Cabins Motel in Wall, and found it to be very well run, clean, relatively quiet, and an excellent value. Each party gets an individual cabin, which are clean, well maintained, nicely decorated, and cozy. Even though the breakfast was a bit sparce, it was still probably the best over-all value I've gotten in a hotel/motel in the last five years (and I travel a lot). If you have a choice in Wall, stay at the Frontier Cabins.

A spacious and immaculate cabin with a full kitchen Very convenient for the amazing Badlands, the fascinating Prairie Homestead, Wall Drug (of course) and Rapid City airport. We stayed for three nights very happily. The manager and the staff were fantastic - the flies were a bit of a nuisance but a fly swat was provided! Our cabin looked over fields and there were some beautiful sunsets. Highly reccommended.

We first stayed here the summer they opened and have been here many times since. one of the nicest cabins we have stayed at in the country. The price is always reaonable for the tourist area it is and the rooms are always clean and very comfortable. a short jaunt from town and right next to the badlands.
