“Like crowds?”
Reviewed September 2, 2014

We stopped in for a bite and a drink, but the area was so crowded that we ended up going to another restaurant in town for our meal. Wall Drug is a large tourist attraction and they could stand to update the eating area to compensate for the large volume of people.

“Go for the Hot Beef Sandwich”
Reviewed September 1, 2014

The cafeteria style serving area was very efficient. Lots of choices, but what I heartily recommend is the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich.
It was super and very satisfying for the price.

“Having seen the signs for over 100 miles, I had to stop...”
Reviewed September 1, 2014

Sort of an American Novelty. You see the signs on the Interstate for miles, so you stop. Main street is further of the Interstate but the signs continue to guide you right to Main Street.

I think you can find most things you may be looking for and probably a lot more that you aren't; within this block sized shopping and eating extravaganza.

The help is friendly. Even if you are just looking to spend an hour walking around outside your car, this is a good stop. Parents with kids, it is a good break. You might even consider losing them there.

The water is free and there is a story there. The coffee is 5 cents, but you get what you pay for. The donuts are big and rib-sticking. Overall an enjoyable and novel experience.

“Curious & Disappointed ”
Reviewed August 31, 2014 via mobile

We were traveling from WI to the Black Hills and naturally found many reviews to check out Wall Drug. HOLY TOURIST TRAP! There's nothing special about it honestly unless you want endless little stores of souvenirs (not even great ones). One of those experiences you do to say you did, but doesn't resonate as anywhere near the top of our list.

We were curious and stopped for the full South Dakota experience, but shortly after arriving left not feeling this was the experience we wanted. If you have kids you could be there for a bit with varying activities & photo opportunities. Otherwise I'd say a quick swing through is plenty....if anything for the free bumper sticker.
