Amazing food, the best in Amorgos by far! We found it by chance  as it is off the beaten track, just before the turn off for Mouro Beach before the town of Vroutsis. We had an amazing lunch for €24. Cyclade salad for starter, my girlfriend had grilled mackrel and I had grilled octopus, fava, beans and potatoes, yum! We were given complimentary bread with olive dip on arrival and fried doughnuts with ice-cream to top it all off. The setting is lovely you would expect to pay a lot more for the quality of food and scenery. The restaurant overlooks the sea and mountains so peaceful, just the beautiful greek music playing in the background. The seating is in a bamboo covered garden with herbs and olive trees growing all around. If you have transport this is a must for food lovers!

“A greek surprise”

Arriving to Restaurant Anemolithi on a very hot day it almost reminds you of a scene from "Bagdad Café". But just until you're past the entrance - then you feel like heaven! With an excellent view over mountains and the sea, obliging service, cosy atmosphere and superb food you are as close to heaven as you can get. This new ecological restaurant deserves your attention - don't leave Amorgos without having given yourself this extraordinary experience!! It might follow after a swim and diving in Agia Anna (Le Grand Bleu).
