If you go to Sioux Falls, you had better stop by to see the falls themselves. The city has outdone itself in showcasing the ralls in this very creative park. It is free and the parking seems plentiful. Well maintained sidewalks take you all around the area and there are some places to snap beautiful photos. A tower in the visitor center gives you an eagle eye view. It is accesible by both staircase (about a five story climb) and evevator. Some placards explain the historical significance of the falls and their impact on the town and vice versa. I got a pretty good feel of the place in about 20 minutes, it being cold and windy, but could have easily relaxed there for a couple hours.
