Sioux Falls does not have many "upper end" hotels, but at least the Residence Inn offers customers are nice place to stay. The rooms have plenty of space and are fairly clean. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Spent 3 nights at the Residence Inn thanks to a "win" on Priceline. I don't know that I've stayed in a Residence Inn before, so this was a pleasant surprise. Our room was huge, with a king size bed, living area, small bath, and full kitchen. And I do mean FULL. Full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker. If we had wanted to cook, we had pans & cutlery. Check-in was quick and friendly. Yes, the hotel is dated, but it's clean and has everything you could possibly want. FREE internet. FULL breakfast. Heck, I think we could've even had dinner. There was a menu posted on the fridge door. Tuesday was taco night, Wednesday BBQ, etc. We were never around for the manager's reception, so I can't review it, but how nice that it was offered! Breakfast was good. Plenty of choices including hot items like scrambled eggs and fried potato squares. One day there was bisquits and sausage gravy. Another morning there was sausage patties. There was cereal, yogurt, fruit, breads and baked goods. You could make your own English Muffins. There was a choice of juices, coffees & teas. I loved that they put out salsa and hot sauce, even crushed red pepper if you wanted to spice things up a bit. The room it's served in is warm and welcoming with a tv, fireplace, magazines and games.
We never got to use them, but we peeked in on small, but nice-looking exercise room and indoor pool.
Our room was kept clean and housekeeping was non-intrusive.
We were totally pleased with our stay, can recommend it, and if you get it off a bid on Priceline it's an extra special bargain!

Stayed for three days over Christmas with my family (8 adults and 8 kids) We booked 3 suites with 2 bedrooms and kitchens. The location is convenient and front desk staff was pleasant. Beyond that...the hotel was a huge disappointment. Rooms are in desperate need of updating. The appliances in the kitchen are old and worn. Cabinets are dirty & chipped. Outdated furnishings and worn carpeting. Grungy dirt in the corners of the bathrooms. The breakfast buffet in the morning is uninspiring. We had the same bad eggs and breakfast pototoes three days in a row. Plus they didn't restock bowls and spoons for cold cereal (which was what we ate every moring because the other food was so bad)...ran out of milk (are you kidding me???), had to wait two mornings for coffee to be made. I glanced into the empty container that holds the spoons for breakfast and was appalled at how dirty the container was...obviously had not been washed in quite some time.

The kids are a good time in the pool. But note that it is very small and only 4 ft deep.
We will seek different accommodations next time we are in Sioux Falls.

First the good. The beds were very comfy, the staff very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed having space to spread out. The not so good. The hotel is very much in need of remodeling, the rooms look dated and some of the floors were sagging. The rooms were clean in the obvious places, but dirty doors and kitchen floors.
Overall, we stayed two separate times on our trip so not a deal breaker. For the price and the space and the comfy beds it was good. I would probably stay again, but hope they remodel the rooms soon.

The hotel is located right next to the Empire Mall, which is a quite nice place for a shopping tour, Apart from that, the area is not very attractive, there are just motels, fast food restaurants and filling stations around.

The rooms are very spacious, with kitchen and a huge "living room area". Our room had a very noisy aircon, which disturbed our sleep a little bit.

The service is very friendly and attentive, and the athmosphere is nice and easygoing.

The complementary breakfast is very good! They also have a little indoor pool and a small gym.

The hotel is fine, but it is too expensive for the standard provided.

Moved here after 5 minutes in the dingy Fairfield Inn across the parking lot. This hotel was better, but not by much. They must be owned by the same people.

I pretty much only stay at Marriotts anymore because I can always trust the quality. These two hotels made me doubt that.

Internet was non-functional. Orange juice was watered down and awful.

My family and I traveled down for a softball tournament and did not want to eat out. The full kitchen with stove top was perfect for us to be able to cook in our rooms. The rooms were nice and clean. We also loved having the "master" bedroom seperate from the kids' beds. This is a place that from now on when we go to Sioux Falls, we will be staying at.
