Our room located on the 8th floor was very small, dark (poor lighting) and noisy. The heat system was loud turning on and off all night and nearby trains made it impossible to get any sleep. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very good for our visit to Rapid. The enigma restaurant served an excellant breakfast and their service was excellant.

Room Tip: Rooms here are small and good luck with getting any sleep.

Hotel staff very friendly, helpful and nice. The hotel room was small, dark (poor lightening) and noisey. The heat system was very loud (coming on and off) and nearby trains made it impossible to get a good night sleep. The breakfast was good with friendly staff. The hotel was clean and in a good location (for our visit in Rapid City).

Room Tip: Our room was on the 8th floor and very noisy (could not get a peacful night).

Arrived in Rapid City after major flight delays and lost baggage. Had to cancel previously booked accommodation in another state and my booking agent booked me into this hotel at the last minute. It was the best surprise after a tough day. The hotel is quirky but clean, in a great location, has everything you need on site - restaurant, gift shop, casino, ATM. Hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and a bit funky, a little different to the usual hotel room, which was nice. The nicest, biggest flat screen tv's I've seen in a hotel room. I arrived on christmas day and they had snacks out for guests, which was very much appreciated, as everything else was closed. The free breakfast was sensational. There's an omelette bar, hot food, cold foods, pastries, everything you could possibly want. The free wi-fi was good quality, fast speed. Loved the Mt Rushmore tiles on the lobby floor. Excellent all round and at a super, very competitive price. Loved this place, didn't want to leave!

Room Tip: I had a room at the other end to the elevator, the last room so I had two walls of windows, which I...

Odd little place in some respects. This remodled Hilton/Radisson features funky in-room murals, free breakfast, and the friendliest staff you are lilely to meet. Located in downtown Rapid City, it's within waling distance to excellent dining and drinking places. The web site does not mention it, but they happily offer a shuttle from the airport. Next time I'm in Rapid City I will be staying at the Adoba Eco.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Centrally located, close to all the sites. Enigma restaurant was a surprise, although the chef should dial down the truffle oil use. The martini bar looks dumpy? But actually serves great drinks and the staff were great!!

Stayed there for 3 nights. Great old-style atmosphere.
The hotel staff were as helpful and friendly as any hotel where I have stayed. When I made reservations, via telephone, I was asked how I was traveling to Rapid City. I told Jade, the reservationist, that I was flying to Rapid City. She asked my arrival time and when I told her, she said the hotel shuttle would be waiting for me. I walked out of the door of the Rapid City terminal and the shuttle was there, just as she promised.
Rooms were clean and the beds super comfortable.
All told, our family had reserved seven (7) rooms and there were no problems with any of them.
We all were there to celebrate my brother's 75th birthday and were given a large conference room where the party was held. The hotel provided a cash bar and buffet for the party. Although the cost of the buffet was somewhat steep, the food was hot and plentiful.
The staff working the party were extremely friendly and helpful.
The only "knock" I have on the hotel rooms is the lighting in the our room. The bulbs were "green" bulbs and low voltage and seeing for reading was difficult for these old eyes. Very bright reading lamps were provided for each side of the beds but lamps and lighting in the room as a whole were not very good.
That being said, I really do highly recommend staying at this hotel.
And being right downtown with access to many shops and stores within walking distance is a huge plus.
For me, I would give this hotel 5 stars *****.

We spent two nights here while visiting the Mount Rushmore area. It is in a convenient location, within easy walking distance of many restaurants and Rapid City's presidential statues. There is plenty of FREE parking. The rooms are comfortable; the staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is expensive, but there is a coffee shop.
