Excellent BBQ, I was actually surprised at how great it was. Highly recommend it. Hubby got fish and chips and loved it. Adult son got burger with blue cheese and onion straws and he loved it. Waitress was great.

A real old working fire station turned into a brewery. Lots of history on the walls - they speak to you and beer was great!

Hubby and ate at bar because we didn't want to wait for a table. Anyhow, always fun interaction at a bar.

We split the BBQ sandwich and each had a salad. Tried 2 local beers, both good. Good service, friendly folks at the bar.

The Firehouse was totally enjoyable. Good food and good brews. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend the Firehouse as a must visit when in Rapid City.

This is a very cool restaurant from the front, a restored Firehouse (thus the name), and it appeared to be very busy. We were offered a seat inside or outside and since it was a nice day we selected outside. It really isn't outside, but more of a building missing the front wall. We were seated at the back of the "outside" area at a table big enough for at least 6-8 people (there were just two of us).

While the restaurant was moderately busy, the service was SLOW. At one point, I thought they had forgotten us. When the server finally did come, she was almost rude in her effort to be "efficient". Even after ordering, it took what seemed a long time to get our drinks and and even longer time to get our food.

Once our food arrived it was just "OK". Nothing really wrong with it but nothing worth the wait we had endured.

Overall, pretty disappointing. I wouldn't go back.
