My wife went to book the hotel online to book the hotel. She thought there was something strange because she never received a receipt. She called to confirm the booking and was told it never booked and that they would be happy to do it over the phone. The clerk never mentioned that we were going to be charged a lot higher amount. When we went to check out they lowered the rate about 10% but nothing close to what it should have been. Called and complained but got nowehere. We were told that when there are no rooms available at the internet price that is what happens.
Also, we had asked to be moved to the second floor and for a refrigerator. We were staying there with a family reunion and everyone was on the second floor. The night before we asked and they said that plenty of rooms were opening the next day. But when we called in the morning they tried to tell us that nothing was availble. When I tried to call back the front desk phone was busy. So I went to the front desk the manager said sure there are rooms to move you into. As far as the refrigirator. Something about not wanting employees to carry them. However, we were promissed a referigirator in the new room. Of course it was not there. So we called to the front desk and the clerk carried it up to our room. They had one front desk clerk that provided really good service. She would pull out her laptop to help us find places to go and he was the one who lugged the regregirator to our room. That said sounded like they were about to get rid of her.
