“A little piece of "heaven"!”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

With all the hustle and bustle of a vacation - with lots of driving, it's nice to get out the "norm" and experience God's blessings and renew your spirit! It is amazing to see the craftsmanship of the chapel and the meaning/purpose of particular pieces within the structure. The prayer walk was great and so peaceful! We also enjoyed the little cabin with antiques and the gift shop!

“Long ride for short visit”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

A nice side-trip, if you are in the Rapid City area, but nothing out-standing. The chapel is unique but it takes only about 10 minutes to see it. There is nothing of real value in taking the time to travel to see it.

Church is located in a beautiful setting but out of the beaten path. Be sure and take the serenity walk.

“Chapel in the Valley”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

It was beautiful! Unbelievable how it was made. All from wood from Norway and made piece by piece. The roof is made out of 1600 individual pieces of wood.

“A gem”

Don't miss this if you are in the area. It is a beautiful church built like a church in Norway. The craftsmanship is amazing. The volunteers here are friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely.
