The room was cold all night, we had the heat on 78 degrees. When taking a shower, looking up to see the dirtiest shower vent I have ever seen, and that is where you want it to be the cleanest. The room was $135. I have gotten suites at other places that sleep 7 for $99. You need to rethink your fees. This hotel was not the top of my listing. We thought we would use the resturant, however there are really better resturants in your town. We will no be staying with you again, even though the service was Great, we will stay somewhere else to save the money.

Thank you for your response. I am sorry we did not meet your expectations. I will go through our rooms and make sure the heating units work in them. I will have housekeeping check all vents and they will be cleaned. Again I am sorry we failed to make your stay an enjoyable one.

Thank you for your response. Thank you for your compliment s on the sleeping room> I have talked to the chef and cafe manager. We will improve the prime rib. The cafe manager will work with the wait staff on service and freindliness. The staff and I apologize for the poor experience you had in restaurant. Again thank you for your response.

Midwestern hospitality is abundant in the staff at this property. From the housekeepers to the front desk clerks (Jason) to the restaurant servers one is made to feel welcome and appreciated. The hotel itself is quite large, but old and needs updating. Wireless service was not available in the guest room and no one knew how to assist in getting a connection with the cords in the desk drawer. There were not enough outlets to plug in all of our electronics. The linens made the room seem more modern but the bathrooms, carpets, furnishings, etc. are dated. There is a moderately equipt exercise room and an indoor pool (not sure it was heated) and jacuzzi that left a unpleasant odor on our bathing suits. The on-site restaurant has a menu to please everyone. The attached conference center appeared busy during our stay. The location is easy to find and provides a quiet night's stay.

The Room was fine, but with the conference center attached, I would assume it is more of a business hotel. The Desk for working was very small, and had no power for laptop and phone charging. A little bigger desk and bringing the power to top of the desk would make it easier to work. It may seem like a small thing, but I travel a lot, so the hotel room becomes an extension of my office. I had to unplug the lamp to use the electrical socket. SO the desk area was dark.

Thank you for your response. We are replacing the desks with larger ones and desk lamps that have plug-ins built in for extra power at the work station.

Both my husband and I liked this hotel. It is pet friendly, which we needed. And there was a door in the room that led to a parking lot (under construction) in the back. So we didn't have to go through the halls of the hotel in order to take our dog out for a walk.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was easy to find. Staff was very friendly. Price was very good value.

Only warning I have is to get settled in early if you want to find something to eat near the hotel. Places close early in Pierre.
