Not a 5 star hotel.... a rustic cabin on the edge of the woods on a road less travelled. The staff was friendly and great to deal with. Breakfast was not free, but frankly, I have never had a free breakfast this good. "The bacon guy" was friendly and really added to our time in the Black Hills with his recommendations on where to go. The location was great for what we wanted to do.
We went with cabin number 2. Two bedrooms (sort of a stretch - two rooms with queen beds and just enough room to walk around them). There was a sleeping loft, a small dining area, fridge and microwave. The fridge should have been cleaned more thoroughly between guests, but this didn't effect our stay. The bathroom was basic, but very functional. The key for us was quiet. This was no luxury place, but then again, we didn't have to listen people talking in the hallways either.
