We've been eating at Alpine Inn since it was a little lunch spot on the corner. Don't let the one-item-in-two sizes and modest prices lead you astray---this is a top flight place to eat as any local will tell you. The filet mignon is excellent and the extensive menu of home-made desserts incredible---unequalled anywehre in the world in our experience! You may have to wait an hour or more in peak season---it's worth the wait! Get your beverage in the bar (the pink lemonade is my choice) and sit on the veranda until your name is called. You'll be back!
