Decorated with a European influence including darker textiles & flooring, wood chair seating & a quaint smaller bar & coctail area the Alpine Inn offers a wide variety of wine and beer selections in addition to a European/ German luncheon menu that includes choices such as spaetzel, weinerschnitzel & bratwurst. The dinner menu consists of a wonderful filet mignon wrapped in bacon small or large cut served with potato, salad and side dish and a large array of desserts that surely satisfy the sweet tooth. This is a fun place to be and especially beautiful during the Holiday season.

Stopped here for dinner during vacation in Black Hills. Decor is South Dakota quaint, but nobody comes here for the decor, they come here for filet mignon at great prices. You get two filet options (large or small) and it comes with potato and wedge salad. There is also a German plate option for those that don't want steak. Service is fast, but even on a weeknight this place was packed with a wait to get a table by 6:00 PM, so you better come early if you don't want to wait. Desserts were awesome and the deli menu for lunch looked good too. We will definitely come back when we're in the Black Hills again!

a very limited menu but the food was excellent. They do try to rush you through to keep the queues down - but the system of giving you a timed ticket works.

Good food but not great. There are two items on the dinner menu while the dessert menu has like 30 choices. We ordered the filet mignon with baked potato, toast, and lettuce wedge. The cut of meat tasted more like sirloin. Service was good. We were sitting in close quarters with a couple of other folks so it was natural to chat with them during most of dinner. They only accept CASH!!!! You've been warned.
