I thougth I had a stuffed animal collection... NOT compaired to the Teddy Bear Town! WOW is all we could say! Although we do have a Boy Scout Bear that we will be sending along to join the crowd! Each bear is labled which is amazing! Met with the owner and she really takes pride in her shop. No charge to visit, a must see!

Small facility but crammed with bears! Every kind of bear imaginable. Sections of Winnie the Pooh bears, football bears all kinds of bears. The host was very informative and also took the time to show our graqndson some of teh singing and dancing bears, which we really appreciated. The older ones were mesmerized and we are looking for a special bear to send to add to the collection. I wish the city would give her a space with display cases so we could easily see all the bears. Fun stop.

Teddy Bear Town was a fun stop that we had while in Hill City. This lady knows her bears!! She quickly identified numerous bears from our home province and shared a story of each one. This is a wonderful collection and is worth the time to stop and check out.

Stopped by the Teddy Bear Town after reading the previous TA review and met the Teddy Bear lady, Jackie or as I dubbed her "Mayor of Teddy Bear Town". Be sure to stop in, see all the bears, meet "the Mayor", and hear her story of Teddy Bear Town, and her teddy bears from around the world. There is no charge, but she has an unobtrusive donation jar.

I was not so sure about this beforehand but had it as a possible on our itinerary because my travel friend collects teddy bears. We had some time after lunch and it was just across the street from the Alpine Inn in Hill City so we decided to do it! It was such a great little diversion and honestly, just a fun, quick walk down memory lane. The collector was there and gives a personal tour and answers any questions about any bears you ask or notice. It is just a very wholesome, genuine collection and experience! She never had a teddy bear as a child and started this collection herself and it has just exploded in a warm and welcoming manner! She takes pride in the memories shared with her and its not about the recognition from Guinness World Records or Ripleys Believe it or not but about the people and the bears! The little house was just jam packed full but it was cute and interesting, worth a visit if you are near!
