The number 2 spot for my son to visit while on vacation. It was a very nice surprise and very informative fir a small museum. The staff was very friendly and the fee is good all year

“excellent collection!”

Small, but packed museum with lots of artifacts. I went around the museum 3-4 times and each time saw more that I didn't even notice the previous time. Great for anyone, kid or adult, who is interested in paleontology or dinosaurs.

“Unexpected”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2014

We were walking around Hill City mostly shopping when we came across this place. My husband suggested we give it a try and I am glad we did. We have two teenagers (14 & 17) and my Mom was with (60's) and we all enjoyed it. It had a lot of stuff in it for such a small place. Lots of beautiful gems, interesting fossils and of course the big T-Rex's, Sue & Stan. It doesn't take a lot of time to go through it and the staff was very friendly. We all enjoyed it and were glad we stopped.

“Informative!”

This is a small museum but packed with good information. The cost is around $6.50 per/person but the $6.50 is actually for a season pass. There are no other ticket options.

“Worth a look”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2014 via mobile

We came near closing time but we were able to make it through the exhibits. There are a lot of interesting artifacts set up in a small space. It's a great thing to see for an hour or two. The gift shop that is attached was a hit with my kids as well.
