We felt like we were really camping. Trees, view was gorgeous! Would go back there again in a heartbeat! The store had anything we needed as well. The kids loved the pool & play yard. The location is perfect for taking day trips

The people in the office were super nice. We stayed at a tent site with no electric. I told them were were teachers on summer vacation looking for a quieter more adult site. They put us in a shady tent site up on a hill away from all the kids. It was great! We had tons of space to ourselves. We had campfires in the pit both nights (we loved it so much we stayed an extra night). We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed 4 nights in June. We asked to be near the bathroom, so we only had a few steps to them. The bathrooms are very clean. The location is great for touring the Black Hills area, especially our favorite park, Custer State Park. The only thing we didn't like was that the campsite was very fine dirt. When the wind would blow, dirt blew everywhere and covered our camper & vehicle.

Room tip: Ask for a site with grass or stones.

We RV camped during Sturgis week and the campsite was a nice sized location. The shower/bathroom facilities and pool were just a short walk away. The general store was nicely stocked and prices were reasonable. Only drawback was the roads. We encountered a lot of rain during the week and by week's end the roads were just mush. One bike was dropped trying to pull off the road and we had several other close calls. If they could be permanently repaired it would be an ideal spot.

This was the CLEANEST camp ground I think I've ever stayed in. They even clean the fire pits out in between campers. It was located away from the road so you didn't have to see or hear the cars going by. We could see deer close by, very peaceful. The people there were great help and answered questions we had. I fully intend to stay again.

Room tip: The fitness rating is for the pool. VERY clean. Bathrooms were also very well kept.
