“Keep Walking”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2012

We were expecting a great south dakota beef steak dinner and instead it appeared and tasted like a flash frozen T-bone warmed on a flat grill. Go across the street to the Saloon #10 Social Club(upstairs), much better food.

“I Too Say Keep Walking!!!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2012

After a day of traveling and touring the area we thought we would stop into Deadwood for Supper. Thought this place was interesting and as soon as someone noticed us, which was a length of time measured in minutes we were seated. The server was polite and did her part well, too bad the kitchen failed. I ordered the Jack Daniels blackened ribeye and my wife ordered the steaktips. My ribeye was more of a peppercorn steak with no resembalance of a blackened steak, lacked no flavor close to Jack Daniels and all the sides dishes lack flavor. The ribeye was so tough that I was looking around to see if the jockey was relaxing at the bar. My wife's main complaint was the flavor of her steaktips. She complained that the meat had a very strong taste of corn. Albiet that it's not uncommon for livestock to be fed corn but it was powerful enough for her to comment (trust me she is not one to complain).

Overall, I cannot recommend this place for the food, maybe the bar might be the best thing going.

“Out of prime”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2012 via mobile

We came in due to the sign that said best prime rib only to find out they were out. Instead we had cold soup, overdone fries, forgotten items and canned mushrooms they didn't even attempt to grill or season. The walleye was decent but the t-bone was pretty thin. The casino is great, and management and service stellar, but the restaurant leaves a great deal to be desired. Typical greasy spoon type place.
