“Best vacation house you can find!”
Reviewed July 7, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We stayed here for the 4th of July to celebrate a small family reunion and a few other special things. Everything was perfect! Great fast and friendly response from the owner, very clean and spacious, amazing location and had everything we needed. We plan to come back and would HIGHLY recommend this house for your vacation!

This place was absolutely perfect for our group! It is only a block from Deadwood's main street! The view from the wrap-around balcony was amazing! Everything about it was perfect!

“EXCELLENT!”
Reviewed January 12, 2017 for a stay in September 2016

We arrived late at night and found the house with no problem. The house is very large and would have no trouble having 12 people stay there. It was extremely clean and well taken care of. Quite a few staples were stocked in the cupboards! The kitchen was clean and organized. We were one block off of Main Street....so from the deck we could see people as they crossed below. We could also walk downtown instead of drive and then try to find a place to park...not easy in Deadwood and you'll have to walk from that place anyway. The walk back up to the house is all uphill....like almost everything in Deadwood!! And you can see the steps in the pictures!! Deadwood is a great place to plan your daily trips from. We will be back here again!!

We loved this house! It was an amazing location and perfect for a group of people! We would have loved a hot tub but there were plenty of other things to keep us busy! I will definitely stay here again!

“Great house in a perfect location”
Reviewed June 9, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

First, the location was awesome! Right in the middle of historic downtown Deadwood, pretty much just one block from the center of town, although that very short distance is a steep walk up, with a few more stairs to get into the house.

The house itself was beautiful and comfortable. At the time of our visit, the bottom floor was still a work in progress, but it did have a bed and a bathroom, but no blinds on the windows yet. It looks like it will be really nice when it's completed though, so hopefully that will happen soon. The other three bedrooms were very comfortable.

One recommendation I would have for the owners though, is to put together a welcome binder in the house with notes about the house. This should include things like WiFi (I didn't know where the password was until I emailed), and the air conditioning (never did quite figure out the thermostats). Also information about sites or restaurants in the area would be helpful. Some information was emailed prior, but it didn't include everything, and it would be nice if it was put together nicely somewhere in the house. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking at the Deadwood area.
