We stayed two nights in this hotel and were pleased with our rooms. Clean and comfortable, we slept well after full days of sightseeing, etc. The pool was nice for our kids, the restaurant and sport's bar had good food, and the location was nice for shops and sightseeing in "downtown" Deadwood. Casino was also fun and relaxing for me! Young teens working here were on the ball and very kind and courteous. They went out of their way to assist with luggage, information, etc. Staff are excellent and "see and hear" you when you are there.

Room Tip: Rooms were on 1st floor and convenient to elevator and pool. Rock view from 1 room was disappointing.

We stayed at this motel in July 207 and were very happy we chose this place. The motel and rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The room is a decent size as well. We would recommend this place to friends and stay there again. The staff were all very courteous.

The downside is the parking as you have to use a parking garage but there is a nice gentleman there to help you reach the front desk area. There is a casino as soon as you walk in but you only have to take a few steps to your right to an elevator bank that brings you to the hotel. Its a historic gaming town after all. It is centrally located to allow you to walk to the historic downtown district and has a nice restaurant and patio bar attached to it. The food at the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast) was delicious and the staff were very nice. Two thumbs up.

The room was clean and comfortable. Funny thing when I made the reservation it said room with a view. My view was a rock wall. My son's room did have a view though. The restaurant is still not worth going. Service poor, although, food is acceptable, compared to when they first opened. But so many better places to eat.

We were staying in Lead, SD and when we asked for a good restaurant the desk clerk suggested this place. It did not disappoint. When we arrived, we found that our desk clerk had called ahead and made reservations for us. We were seated and served immediately. The staff were great and super friendly. The food was delicious.

This hotel is pretty nice. It was clean and everyone was friendly. My only thing, which seems to be everyone else's was that you have to walk through the casino and then get on an elevator to get to the hotel part, which is not all that big of a deal. The front desk staff was very friendly and even helped recommend places to eat. We would definitely stay here again. Bonus is the pool is open 24 hours. It would be nice if they had a complementary breakfast but they don't since they have a restaurant in the hotel. Very close to the historic Main Street which is very nice and the parking garage is a plus since we were on a motorcycle.
