This is located inside the Lodge at Deadwood. They do a great happy hour from 3 to 6pm so we took advantage of that and then had supper there later in the evening and really enjoyed our entree's as well! Bartender was excellent and service was terrific!

During the past month, prices are higher, portions are smaller. Menu has changed, which is not necessarily a bad thing in principle, but gone are bull bites, hand-tossed pizza, sliders. I'm not sure if other reviewers understand that the hostess does not seat folks in Oggie's - just in the adjacent Deadwood Grille. It is a free-for-all in Oggie's, which is uncomfortable at times when people waiting to find a table just stand nearby waiting for you to complete your dinner so they can grab your table before anyone else does. We have found the service to be excellent. Atmosphere is great, but how can a sports bar NOT have the Golf Channel?

Walked into the bar from the Casino, sat at the bar, but they had tables, you could sit anywhere.
The service was nice, and the bartender was nice and helpful.

OMG, if you want a good hamburger, eat at Oggies. Best EVER! Very fresh buns, (they must make them there as they were so good), hamburger was juicy and perfect.

Since were were at the hotel, we ate there twice. Burger was small but okay, kids meals were fine. Had to ask the waitress to bring toddler cups to replace glass goblets for little ones and also forgot ice cream came with kids meals.

They did have a very large bar and lots of tv's, so I'm sure the conference attendees enjoyed it as a evening spot to gather.

My husband had breakfast in there one morning and said it was marginal at best. Potatoes had been sitting under the warmer for quite some time, sausage patty did not have much flavor.
