The pizza and service was great, the restaurant itself was cold and the coffee was really stout. The pizza made up for it. YUM

This is a restaurant that is adjoined by the Cadillac Jack's Casino/AmericInn Hotel. I couldn't believe the change from awesome customer service at the casino/hotel end of the building to the awful customer service at this restaurant. We were one of five tables that were being waited on the evening that we dined there. The waitress that we had seemed like she had a chip on her shoulder and didn't even want to be working that night. I asked how a couple of the entrees on the menu were prepared, and she was clueless. I ended up getting the chicken parmesan and my fiance got the chicken wings basket. I must say the food was excellent and came out hot and fresh. We saw our waitress again only once more to refill our drinks in the 45 minutes that we spent there. Again, no smiles or even an inkling that she was happy to be waiting on us. Needless to say, our tip showed our dissatisfaction with her help. The restaurant itself is a modern, chic sports bar with tvs in each booth. It is a very "open" atmosphere which makes for a very noisy venue when you have a few of the tvs on with people talking over the tvs. Kudos to the chef....but wait staff definitely needs customer service training to keep their customers coming back for more!

The Brown Rock Sports Cafe's happy hour special has to be one of the best deals in Deadwood. Sunday through Friday between 3 pm and 6 pm you can get medium pizzas, well drinks, and domestic draft beer for half price.

There are several pizzas to choose from including a five cheese, a bbq chicken, and a taco pizza. My boyfriend and I shared a medium Hunter Pizza and two Coors Light drafts. The pizza was loaded with toppings and had a nice crispy crust. It easily serves two people. We actually took two pieces with us and ate them later. It was good cold, too. Our total bill for the pizza and beer was around $10. What a bargain!

The service was great, so we tipped 20% of what the total bill would have been without the discount. After all, we received full service, had terrific food, and we still made out like bandits.
