“Excellent Walk Down Memory Lane”

Belle Inn Restaurant
Restaurant details
Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

My family frequents Belle Inn and have never been disappointed.
The food is typical truck-stop fare, full breakfast menu served all day, daily specials, burgers, fries and dinner selections.
I enjoy the Mushroom Swiss burger; as all Belle Inn's burgers, it can be ordered 1/3 or 1/2 pound. This is a wonderful sandwich.
My wife and daughter never fail to order the Sirloin Tips and always enjoy them thoroughly.
The Belle Inn hearkens back to an America of years past, one that is quickly slipping away. The servers are "down home" types, real people, friendly and efficient. If you enjoy good food, served up with a side of nostalgia, The Belle Inn is for you!

There isn’t much to say about the Belle Inn. It’s almost always one of the first things you see when coming into town. Once you see it it’s clear that it is a run of the mill truck stop. It has the atmosphere that is rather rare these days. It has a flair that is distinctly 70s. You would expect Smoky and the Bandit sitting there when you walk in.

The food is your general trucker fuel. Pancakes, omelets, hash browns and steak and eggs for breakfast and a burger and fries for lunch. The food is decent but won’t wow you. But if you are looking for a good greasy spoon then this is the place for you.

I'm a tourist. And I'm a foreigner. Anywhere with cowboys wearing stetsons while eating grits is EXACTLY where I want to go. The Belle Inn rocks. Forget about the great prices, good food, and amazing service. That's all very well, but this place is full of cowboys. What else do need?!

Home-style food with great desserts and very reasonable prices. They have daily specials that are yummy. Make sure to ask what cakes and pies they just baked. They had some type of orange cake that was great.

We stumbled on this down home restaurant by accident. Nothing fancy inside or out, but prices were reasonable & the food was good. The french dip sandwich was the best ever. The fish sandwich was deep fried so it was a bit greasy but lettuce, tomato & bun made up for it. Friendly staff. Order was quickly taken, prepared & served. We would return.
