OMG, asistiv, but I think I was behind you in line that day! I too went into Brunches that a.m. with my friend for breakfast. We stood in line waiting for about 25 min. for breakfast, which is common for Brunches on that day of the week. Our food and service were great, as usual. Just know going to Brunches is going to take longer than some sub-par restaurants bc their food is good and everyone in the area knows its the best. I think that addresses your grievance with the wait time. As for you stating that they would not seat a party of one...I am 99% sure that you were the one I was behind in line that day because what are the odds of that same exact situation happening on the same day at the same time??? I remember this bc my friend and I were laughing at the situation (no offense) bc your exact request was to be seated but that 3 friends would be joining you. The "hostess/seating person" told you that you couldn't be seated until your whole party was there. You then TURNED your grievance into it being over them not wanting to seat just 1 person. Their problem was never with you being a party of 1, but wanting to take a servers table for God knows how long before your "friends" showed up. That's not fair to the server nor the other customers waiting who would have to wait twice as long for your table to clear. Hence, your arrogance was why my friend and I were laughing at the situation. I'm sure that you were frustrated bc you had to wait to then be told to wait until your party arrived, but I guess most people who dine out frequently know that you won't get sat (ESPECIALLY during a busy time) without your whole party being there. I do recommend you trying their restaurant again. If you don't feel like waiting, call ahead for carry-out and take it home. It's more than worth the effort and the low prices.
