A sandwich, fries and water are over $12. The hushpuppys are nothing but onion balls.I am surprised at how they have chimneys on the buildings but microwave the BBQ meat that is delivered from somewhere else.

I grew up on Piggy Park. The nice thing is that the high quality of the food has remained the same. Some of the other reviewers have unfairly said that it is not real BBQ because of the mustard based sauce. First off, that is one of the many different BBQ traditions in South Carolina. Second, they offer other sauces if you are unwilling to try something new. If you can' tamale it to one of their locations, Piggie Park even has a mail-order service. It's a great place.

I have only had mustard-based BBQ sauce in South Carolina. While I prefer the North Carolina vinegar-based sauce, the mustard-based sauce is a nice change of pace. At my recent visit to Maurice's, the meat was tender, juicy and plenty of it on my sandwich. The french fries were crisp. The potato salad was very tasty. The sweet tea was very sweet, just like you would expect in the south. The order counter staff and the table waitress were very friendly and helpful. The sign outside read, "Best BBQ in the World." I don't know about that, especially since a mustard-based sauce probably has a limited appeal, but I would recommend it to anyone that likes BBQ and is open-minded to non-traditional sauce.

They serve mustard-based Bar-B-Que. Not real Bar-B-Que. But that's just my preference. Try another place.
