Very tasty BBQ , but the stars of the show here are their sweet potato casserole and their banana pudding.
We had their lunch buffet which is kept very well stocked and has a nice variety of choices. Worth a stop.

I really like Maurice's BBQ. I just think that they are way overpriced for the amount of food that you get. I also love their homemade hamburgers. takes a while to cook them but so worth it! enjoy!

My Family and I are regulars at Maurice's BBQ in Columbia, SC. You can't go wrong with anything there! Some of the best hash and rice I have ever had! Very clean and budget friendly! You won't go home hungry!

Wanted to get into SC BBQ and enroute to Asheville stopped here. I've had mustard based sauces on pulled pork before, but this seemed to be over loaded. That said, it was reasonably tasty and the sides were very good. Was introduced to "hash and rice". Probably a great way to use up the rest of the pig.

If you love mustard based bbq then they are the place for you! They may actually have items not covered in their signature sauce but we have always gotten something with the sauce since we love it.

They also have hash. Something no NC bbq place we checked (a half dozen of them) carries. No sure why but it's really good. Too rich to eat often but really nice with rice and slaw.

Their bbq sandwiches are also the best. The fact that they use hickory wood to cook with everyday is wonderfully evident. Yum!

We had a hash plate, a sandwich, a regular bbq plate and a special plate (both were too big to finish but great to bring home! All were perfect.
