“Not many other places to choose from”
Reviewed August 14, 2014 via mobile

Our late dinner at 9:30 was ok.

I ordered the steak with grated asiago without the cream sauce, steamed broccoli, and the salad bar. The salad bar was pretty well done for the day, but I was able to make a nice salad anyway. I know they cannot keep it piled high at the end of the day. My broccoli was great, my steak medium instead if medium rare, and it came with the cream sauce I had asked to omit.

Alan ordered a half rack of ribs with mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. The ribs were pretty good, tender with a smoky sauce. He ate all the potatoes and declared the zucchini a greasy inedible disaster. I guess grilled meant cooked on a grill top with everything else, not grilled as in a grill rack. I watched the grease sweat out and run across the plate.

Server was efficient and personable. Wished us a safe journey.

Thank Layne O

“Awful, But The Only Game In Town ...”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

We stopped in Walterboro, SC on a recent trip north on a Sunday evening. Little did we know that there were few choices on a Sunday to have a casual dinner. Duke's BBQ, where we had had a good southern meal previously was closed. So, we opted for the Ruby Tuesday near our hotel - how bad could it be, right? We had the salad bar which was adequate but nothing special. Having most of the salad dressing ladle handles dripping in dressing was pretty bad. We also ordered a spicy shrimp appetizer that looked good in the picture on the menu - nicely browned large shrimp with flecks of seasoning and served up quite enticingly. What a arrived was a small pile of terribly fried popcorn shrimp on a white plate - that's it, not even a sprig of parsley. Not only were the shrimp tiny and poorly cooked, some of the tiny "shrimp" turned out to be simply fried breading. We left the "shrimp", got our check and left. The restaurant was very busy, it seemingly being the only open restaurant in the vicinity, but the food quality was inexcusable.

Waitress was terrible. Food was fair. Place needs to be remodeled. No soap In men's bathroom. Never will stop there again. Had to wait 15 minutes for biscuits and she was very rude about it

“Close and Convenient to Hotel”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

True to form, this restaurant had a great salad bar. We ordered NY strip steaks and requested them rare and medium rare. Unfortunately, they were thin and a bit over done. But, the flavor was great! Wonderful onion rings!

“Very good cheeseburgers!”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

We travel with a dog and needed some carryout so we ordered two cheeseburgers to go at the Ruby Tuesday nest to our hotel. The staff was very friendly and efficient and the burgers were great! We will go back.
