“great end to vacation”

The buffet rivals anything I've had in a long time. The lovely ladies hostessing and serving were awesome...so friendly...a lost art. And the food was phenominal!

“Great Country Cooking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2014

Just 1/2 mile off of I-95 this little gem was a perfect road stop. Those giving a low rating must not appreciate Southern cooking! At 11.00 for the Sunday buffet which included drink, you can't go wrong

“Great Southern Cooking”

We dropped in for lunch, had a variety of dishes, everything was good. They also had a good buffet going, and the food was just great home style eating. Reasonable in cost, definitely recommended.

“Very good value, Great service, Average Food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014

Ate there 3/15. Restaurant is an unassuming older building.on a main road in town with plenty of parking. We were seated immediately in a booth by the window looking out at the street. The menu had a variety of food but we selected the buffet and salad bar at the bargain price of $10/ea. Beer is not available so had tea.

The salad bar is not bad, but not exceptional. A separate entre bar had about 10 different choices. Food is replenished regularly. A separate counter had deserts.

Service was very attentive and friendly. Value was very good. Food was average. We felt we would have been better off ordering from the menu, but no complaints.

“Wish I could of tasted the food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2014 via mobile

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant. We travel I95 often and have seen many good reviews. Unfortunately I won't be able to review the food because after waiting 20 minutes and watching another table that arrived after us get service, we decided to leave. We were seated and our waitress got our drinks right away. Then I can only assume she forgot she had our table. About 15 minutes later another table was seated beside us and she came right over to them, gave them drinks and took their order. We were sure at this point she would come over and take our order but that did not happen. She left after briefly glancing our direction. We waited another 5 minutes but she never returned. We really had no choice at this point except to leave. We paid for the drinks and let the very nice hostess know what happened. She apologized so I gave the restaurant a 2.
