Good BBQ buffet. Large selection on the buffet. Large dinning area. Good South Carolina BBQ(Mustard Based Sauce). It is packed at lunch. Also has a dive thru.

Perfect southern-style buffet with great food! Really good veggies, hash, and hush puppies. The to-go plate is huge. My husband and I share a plate at home and always have leftovers!

And if pigging out is your concept of fine dining, then Dukes is the place to do it. A big group of us senior motorcyclists stopped by recently to have a little lunch. Thankfully we found a big long table where we all could sit together, since ten minutes after we arrived the place was packed. Lunch is served buffet style and the place turns into a great big mess hall filled with everyone and their brothers and sisters - workers, farmers, ladies in high heels, every segment of humanity. Good Southern Cooking and BBQ levels the playing field and normalizes us all. Everyone eats, smiles and gets fat. You wait in line, pay your feeding fee (which depends on your age - seniors getting a dollar break and "super seniors" getting four bucks off). Grab a plate and go to town. The food troughs are 20 feet long, providing a selection of veggies, meats and other goodies fit for a king. Greens, okra, tomatoes, corn, beans, peas, slaw and on and on, pork of course and fried chicken, plus more and more. Wash it all down with whatever fits your fancy, including sweet tea. Want more? Chuck your plate(s) in the trash and head back to the buffet. It's a real treat although you might pay for it later on. It sure ain't haute cuisine, but I heartily recommend the joint to anyone passing by. The locals wouldn't be here day after day if it weren't good.

The clerk at our motel mentioned Dukes and although I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, we decided to try it. I was glad we did...we love bbq and this did not disappoint us. Crowded with lots of locals - that's how you know it's a good place...It's a buffet and there were lots of choices of foods. Almost didn't have room for dessert...
