“If you like Muscadine, you'll like the wine”

Personally I love muscadine wine, so it was a no brainer to go do the tour. For a few bucks, you get to taste all the wines they offer and keep a wine glass. It is way out in the middle of nowhere, but you have to remember, this place was built to be a winery/farm, not a tourist spot. Roads are small, insects run rampant, but that's all to be expected in the south. Go here without unreasonable expectations, and the wine won't let you down.

Loved the atmosphere, but the wine wasn't the greatest. Bring some lawn chairs, a picnic basket and purchase a bottle of wine from the vineyard for an afternoon under the trees with family and friends. There is often times live music and the Firefly Distillery is next door.

I would not have gone to a vinery that uses muscadine grapes to make wine except there were some pretty good reviews on tripadvisor so my wife and I went. Wow were we surprised. Very friendly folks way out in the middle of nowhere, and the wine was really quite good. It is on the sweet side and best used as a sipping wine after dinner. They charge $4 each for tasting and you get to keep their logo glass so not a bad deal. We bought a bottle of four of the five types offered and are happly sipping away. Now go next door to the Firefly Distillery>>>to be continued.....

This vineyard produces interesting wines from a grape native to the area. The wine tasting is only $3 and they give you the wine glass that you use, as a momento of your visit. This is a local family owned location that was started in 2000. It is very family oriented. There are lots of animals and a mini zoo with many different ducks, goats, pigs, a cow, chickens, etc for the kids to see. There was an old fashioned tire swing to entertain the kids too. We were with 4 adults and 3 kids and we took turns to do a tasting and watch the kids. They also offer many events with music and food for the entire family too. If I lived in the area I'd definately attend these events. There is a nice giftshop also with many wine related items, their wines and some gourmet food choices. They also create flavored vodka and liquor. They offer a liquor tasting for $6 and their liquors for purchase. They give you the shot glass that you use as a momento too. The tea plantation is nearby and we did both attractions on the same day.
