Always a favorite when in Charleston area. This time of year it was not crowded and we went right in and were seated. Moultrie Steamer is excellent! The Captain's Platter is also a good choice if you're feeling fried seafood. Our sides were collards, baked potatoe, red rice, and salad. All very good.

We visit Isle of Palms almost every year, and we always make sure we include a trip over to Sullivan's Island for a meal (or two) at Sullivan's. Even when it's packed, it is worth the wait. The she crab soup and the steamer are among our family's favorites. I love that they have a variety of side item choices, including fried okra, collards, and squash casserole. The atmosphere is great, too! The staff is very friendly, and it's not uncommon for them to greet customers by name as they walk through the door. Can't wait to go back!

Vacationing in the area, we planned on going to Poe's Tavern, but after talking to a local decided on Sullivans. We weren't disappointed! The she crab soup was wonderful--both of us had seafood entrees: layered seafood casserole with fettuccine and also an entree with crab dressing topped with shrimp and scallops. Big portions--we had enough for lunch the following day.

This is a small resturant with a local feel. Our waitress was very helpful and the food was very good. I had the special wahoo fish and it was very good along with the she crab soup. My wife had a burger which was also quite good. If you like small quiet local restaurants this would be a good fit for you.
