Description: Everything at The Flounder is homemade daily from the best ingredients. We have specials on each day like Cod, Tilapia, Mahi Mahi along with the typical fish favorites. We make our own hash and BBQ. Our biggest seller is our flounder fillet, caught in the absolute best place in the world for flounder, Alaska. We have a variety of broiled seafoods. Our chicken, fish, oyster and clam chowder are all homemade and are delicious!

Ignore the outside.
Ignore the decor.
Ignore the hillbillies inside.
Order any seafood, Lord you gotta get the hush puppies, and you'll be happy.

The jumbo shrimp are fantastic.
The tartar sauce is great.
Hubby had the oyster/shrimp combo and still raves about it.

Aside from the guy talking on his phone.....on speaker with his mouth full.....and the far from trained wait staff....

Just go for the good food......
Cause it really is fantastic.

Found this place on google maps while traveling due to proximity to interstate and boy did we get lucky! Obviously a local favorite with endless people streaming in, but we still got seated in 5 minutes on a Saturday night. Flounder, mahi mahi, cod, steak, chicken, burgers, soups, hushpuppies... delicious. Lots of broiled options, not many veggies but at least not everything had to be fried if you are watching calories. Super super delicious, very reasonable price and fast service...waaaay better than fast food chain! Lots of families and kids, all friendly faces. Dinner for two included fullfried flounder w slaw, hush puppies, fries, and broiled mahi mahi w same and sodas for $32 including tax. Fabulous place.

We have eaten here about once a week for the last month or so. The fish is always very good. They usually have a long wait so we order to go most of the time.

Great food. Brought out of town family on a Friday night and had to wait about 30 minutes. No complaints about the wait because the service and food outweighs the wait. Good food for a great price.

You will find no better seafood inland than The Flounder! All of the seafood is cooked to perfection...the fried foods are crazy good...very light and flaky. The broiled seafoods are cooked to perfection. I recommend this as the best seafood restaurant and fish camp in the Upstate!
