My wife and I arrived in Spartanburg tired and did not want to go back out so we settled for Sparks the in house restaurant at the Marriott. Judging from the empty dining room we expected typical mircro heated hotel food. Nope, the food was excellent, we were greeted warmly and our waitress Paige a joy. My wife had the fried green tomatoes with crab and remoulade, brocolini, fried shrimp and lobster dumplings all presented uniquely and seasoned perfectly. I had the filet with the unusual four cheese potatoes, really good. We are picky and hard to please so you can trust this review.
