We stayed 10/25 and 10/26 for a wedding. We stayed in room 801 on the 8th floor. The room was about 700 SQ for about 140 per night this also included a romance package with champagne and chocolate covered strawberry's when we arrived. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very big. Bed was comfy and the room stayed nice and cool. The TV was kinda outdated with not very many channels. Small fridge in room. We ordered room service 2 times and it was very over priced Very very slow we waited an 1 1/2 hour and not very good at all. The food was super cold both times and close to 70 dollars each time. We tried to call and complain the second time the rm service was bad but they took so long to bring it they closed by the time we got our food and we were just stuck! No vending machines on any floor for snacks only soda's. There is a shop near front desk and of course everything is over priced about 3.00 for a snack bag of chips. High speed was free by promo when we said there but very very slow and no one advised it was free i only found out when I got the bill. Also you hear a train near by a few times a night so I hope you are not a light sleeper.
The 299 restaurant was good if you ate the food in the restaurant still very over priced though. Nice atmosphere and the waitress was extremely nice and treated us great both nights. Also there is a Walmart of needed about 7 miles away the second day we went to pick up snacks that were better priced.

This Marriot was amazing - clean, friendly staff, well decorated, and room was huge. Bath and Body Works soaps and lotions were provided. We requested a king size bed, but were given two doubles. Beds had fantastic lines. There is also a two level parking garage (no extra parking costs), so parking wasn't an issue. We expected to find a local place to have dinner downtown, but were sadly disappointed with the lack of downtown restaurants. We did find a pizza place called Venus Pie (awesome pizza place) down by the financial district. Also, Priceline gave us a GREAT rate, which is why we ended up staying here.

Room was very clean, however it could have used some updating. Room service was great and very convenient. Excellent pool. Would stay here again.

Room was spacious and super-comfortable -- everything new and in perfect order. Breakfast, two times, inexpensive but quality of food and service was below par.

Came for a convention and had to wait a bit for the room, but the lobby was comfortable. The room was very clean and nice. The hotel was a bit confusing in its layout, but the shoe shine guy was the anchor and always steered us in the right direction. Nice location with good places to walk. Nothing was lacking. A bit frenetic with a prom or wedding, but business was booming which was good for the hotel.
