“An Exciting Place for Plays, Art, and Science”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

The versatility of the plays, the outstanding appeal of the local art and pottery displays, and the interesting, amazing science taught by John Green makes the Chapman Cultural Center a must visit for daytime and night time enjoyment.

“Outstanding venue”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

The Chapman Cultural Center offers something for everyone--music, fine art, crafts, history, science, theatre, and dance. The physical structure is beautiful, a wonderful enhancement to downtown Spartanburg. The galleries are spacious and well-lit, and the theatre is comfortable. The CCC is bringing in an acoustician to raise the level of the acoustics, which will only make an audio experience there better. Spartanburg is lucky to have a state of the art venue such as the Chapman Center!

“a "must see" in Spartanburg!”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Amazing place, especially for a city the size of Spartanburg. You can attend a play, see musical or dance performances, visit a history or art museum, enjoy school children's artwork, or even take a class in a wide assortment of skills. All the museums are free on Sundays, an added bonus. A "Must see" in the city.
