We have frequented J Peters many times and food and service is quite good. However, as a fine food restaurant, it is inconsistent that it is a smoking restaurant. We were there tonight June 2013...great food and super service...but the smoking in the facility was terrible. The structure of the facility does not allow the smoke to be restricted--cigarette smoke permeates the entire facility. All fine restaurants have gone to non smoking...even Waffle House. J Peters needs to become a non smoking facility.
Until they become non a non smoking facility, we will not return.
