This place needs a visit from one of the reality shows - save this restaurant!! The service was OK ... waitress who as asked if the scallops were good -- "I suppose so" was the response!! My wife had no silverware, Oh I took it earlier and gave it to that other table,''ll take some from that table for you - no apology! Food tasted ok - had blackened fish that did not taste blackened ... all tasted as if it was previously prepared and came from a "service", not the chef!!! On top of the poor service and the poor food the price of it all was way too high!!!
Atmosphere was dull and non memorable - old / tired carpet that matched the wall paper and tables ....

Friendly country service, always good food. I don't highly recommend the salads, but the fish is always excellent.

Food was really good. Had crab cakes (almost entirely crab) and shrimp and grits (bacon wrapped shrimp on grits with cheese and sausage bits). Yum! The Pinot Grigio was cold, crisp and refreshing. Wait staff was excellent. Right across from our hotel room! Great find!

Orderd the seafood special blackened and what I was served was rubber with red sauce. My daughter's pasta with marinara was what you would expect if McDonalds served Italian. My wife's fish was undercooked but each of the 4 pieces of asparagus were quite delicious. My teenage son ordered the Mahi and.....he is a teenage male so it got eaten. You will be better off just about anywhere else in Santee, including the Bojangles!

My husband and I dined at Captain's Quarters on June 28, 2013 and had the most wonderful crispy flounder from the specials menu. Our server, Cindy, was lovely and very attentive as were the other staff members. Atmosphere in the dining room was very nice except for the high level of noise from the boisterous golfers dining in the large private room. If you can tolerate the noise level you will enjoy a wonderful meal in a lovely restaurant. Looking forward to dining here when in the area, but may consider ear plugs.
