Julie, Jeff, and Madison,
Stephen and I were so happy with our stay at your B&B. We wish we could have stayed longer!! It was a perfect two day stop as we traveled between Raleigh and Greenville. Julie, the special moment we had with you and the Bible study ladies was real Christian fellowship. I need more of that! The beautiful country scenery, lively animals, perfect "Morning Glory" room, and your delicious homemade breakfast's were many (but not all) of the reasons we absolutely loved Sunrise. Your house is a beautiful dwelling place, and we thank you again for sharing it with us.

In Christ,
Elissa and Stephen

A charming, beautiful, very comfortable bed and breakfast... tranquil farm setting... historic home...genuinely warm, wonderful hospitality by owners Jeff and Julie. Restful, peaceful. Meticulously maintained. Superb breakfast. You'll be welcomed as if you're a member of the family. Close to spectacular Lake Jocassee. Looking so forward to returning soon!
Jeff and Julie truly live out the goal expressed in their mission statement "to glorify God by providing a welcoming, peaceful environment where individuals, couples, and families will achieve rest and refreshment."

That one word says it all. We have enjoyed stays at Sunrise Farm B&B twice now & could not have asked for anything more delightful either time. Excellent, caring hosts who anticipate every need. Wonderful food, exquisitely presented. Charming accommodations. We stayed once in the Corn Crib (highly recommend it for a single or couple---really sweet!) and once in the Rose Cottage which is more spacious. Beautiful property and lovely old farmhouse. Lots of interesting, friendly animals. Bring some carrots; they love 'em!

Sunrise Farm is 5 star all the way!!!

Room Tip: You can't go wrong. Corn Crib is quaint & small but very adequate & comfortable. Rose...

We spent a wonderful weekend at Sunrise Farm. Julie and Jeff are excellent hosts; welcoming and friendly. They work to make each person's stay special (a happy retirement card upon our arrival for me, and happy Father's Day gift on Sunday for Philip!). The property is beautifully maintained and the house is very comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were delicious. We enthusiastically recommend Sunrise Farm and will be returning.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Farmhouse suite. It has two bedrooms (each with its own sink), a nice sitting room...

We often go to a B&B just for the experience. When Julie found that I was allergic to nuts in some cookies she baked some without nuts which immediately showed up in my room. Having stayed in probably 100 B&Bs I can say this is one of the best. Besides it is the only one at which I have ever been kissed by a Llama.

I was traveling on business and was able to get a corporate rate to stay here - I was tired of staying at the local Hampton Inn and did some research on local bed and breakfasts. I stumbled across this location and was excited to learn that they could offer me a corporate rate, as I was a single traveler and would be gone for the greater part of the day and evening. The innkeepers were great, made my stay very comfortable, and it was such a quaint location. I was even able to pet some of the farm animals. I would love to visit again when I am not on business to really enjoy the inn. Thanks again!

We stayed on 5/27/13 for one night and the farm and B&B was great. We stayed in the Hummingbird room and it was large with a 2 beds and a loveseat. The room also included a bathroom within the room. Julie was great. Attention to detail was great. When we asked about places to eat Julie recommended the Lighhouse restaurant and printed directions. The following morning at breakfast, one of the couples we sat with were going fishing and Julie printed out directions to different places in a route so they were not driving all over the place wasting time without the couple asking for them.

Fresh cookies were available during the day and the small refrig upstairs with soda and water was nice. Snacks, popcorn, coffee, and tea were available all day. Breakfast was great, eggs in a basket with potatoes and fresh fruit. We will stay again when we visit the lakes area for hiking.

Room Tip: The Hummingbird room was in back of the staircase and away from the small refrig that everyone uses...
