“Quiet setting, Nice Room, Great People, Tasty Breakfast”

We were able to get babysitters for our kids one weekend but only for one night - Jeff and Julie were kind enough to take us even though I'm sure it's extra work to handle people who don't stay a full weekend. They were both super nice and helpful with area information and just in general. You just get the feeling upon arrival that you will be taken care of the whole time, and then of course, you are!
Love the personality of the farm house. We stayed in the Morning Glory room, spacious for the two of us and lots of nice touches in the room. Great porch for sitting and listening to nature in the morning before/after breakfast or winding down in the evening.
Breakfast was super, and as calorie watchers we appreciated Julie's work at making a delicious breakfast that didn't "load you up" too much. And the convenience of having coffee whenever we wanted from the Keurig machine was a nice amenity.
We are fairly "experienced" B&B'ers and Sunrise Farm is among our top choices. We will be back when we can line up sitters again!

Our family recently stayed in the Rose Cottage which was just perfect for us. Julie and Jeff had thought of EVERYTHING- it was truly a home away from home!

I have NEVER in my life stayed in a place this nice! We got in rather late so we opted to skip dinner and headed to our room once we checked in. My Husband had arranged with the owners to have fresh roses, chocolate covered strawberries, and champagne waiting in the room for us when we got there! It was so beautiful and such a wonderful experience that I will definitely be returning more than once.

There were home made soaps in the bathroom. Home made cookies. Delicious foods for breakfast. Soft and clean bedding and towels. It was so wonderful.

The owners gave us baby carrots and large carrots to feed the petting animals which included two Llamas, sheep, goats, and a cute little pig. The view was spectacular! Cardinals everywhere! I had to bring out my camera to get some pictures of everything. It was fabulous. I have recommended this place to so many people I know, it's a must visit location for anyone looking for some peace and quiet.

Room Tip: The Corn Crib is absolutely perfect for any couple on their honeymoon! It's away from the main h...

We stayed in the Rose Cottage which provided every comfort to make it warm, inviting and convenient. The thoughtful snacks, beverages and coffee supplies helped on arrival, not to mention the to die for chocolate chip cookies. We brought our pet with us and she was made to feel very much at home with bowls, home baked snacks, sheets to cover furniture and towels for muddy paws. I would definitely make it a point to return.

Room Tip: The Rose Cottage is a good choice for families with children. There is a swing set that can be seen...

We stayed last July, but I was just looking through pictures and reminiscening about our stay. Kids LOVED the farm, blueberries were dropped off that day and by morning we had blueberry bread and pancakes! Yum! Feels like home, go there! You won't regret it!

I have roomed at 5 star hotels and lodged at other bed and breakfast locations across the U.S. but I can honestly say this is the best place I have ever stayed. From warm and inviting rooms to real caring service and attention, it feels like going to Grandma's home. I would HIGHLY recommend Sunrise to anyone looking to relax, reflect, and rest.

Our stay at Sunrise Bed & Breakfast has been without any doubt our best Bed & Breakfast experience! The southern style, the old south presence is indescribable. The family type invitation from the owners to the breakfast made for any order, and the excellent support information of the surrounding areas are just a few of the many positives to expect while staying there. We will definitely return and will recommend to all of our friends to come any stay with our new family in Salem, SC. PS. A very peaceful and serene place. You will love watching the birds out the window while having breakfast in the morning! Tim & Janet Davis
