We were so pleased with our stay from the moment we arrived at Sunrise Farm B&B. The owners were friendly, helpful and courteous and even our beagle was treated like a VIP. The homemade cookies and dog treats were a hit and breakfast was delicious. The cottage was private and complete with all the things we needed to feel at home. Julie gave us directions to nearby waterfalls which were amazing to view and even made dinner reservations at a local restaurant. We will definitely stay there again if we plan to be in the area.

This restored 1890 farm house is a gem. The owners, Jeff and Julie, and their daughter, Madison, are very gracious hosts and attend to the littlest details. The breakfast was made from the local fresh produce, and it was delicious. They are also very accommodating to special diets and requests, and they are very knowledgeable about the area. Having llamas, goats, a pony, and a pig at the bed breakfast made it a vey special treat for my grandchildren. We will definitely be back.

Great place for every season of the year. We've spent winter holidays, summer, spring and fall. The farm is lovely, and the host family really does seem like family. They care about their guests and it shows, from the superb three course breakfasts to each tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished room or suite to the loving care they give an assortment of rescue animals on "the farm."

Sunrise Farm is more then "just" a B&B. The atmosphere is something you may have thought not possible in today's busy, sometimes scary, always uncertain world. You can sit in a rocker on the porch of this historic farmhouse and take in the scenery as the birds flutter to the feeders & sing, as the goat jumps out his pen and eats the greener grass on the lawn, as the mini horses graze scerenly in their pasture. You sit on that porch and create memories with your 87 yr old father (WWII vet) , a nephew or two, a sister or two or three ,an Aunt, a brother-in law, with out a care in the world. Priceless;-}
We will be back and we know they will leave the light on for us!

Room Tip: Just call Ms Julie ;-}

What a beautiful l890 farmhome converted into a comfy, wonderful bed and breakfast! it is tucked away in Salem, South Carolina very close to Scenic Highway 11. Julie, Jeff and Madison were great hosts. Breakfast was so good...it took you through lunch! Lakes Jocassee and Keowee very close to the farm, and the farm animals are very friendly. We stayed in the Rose cottage and it was perfect for our family. Jeff and Julie were extremely gracious hosts and we certainly got to enjoy all the fruits of their labor. The farm is small but the perfect size for my three little girls. They loved feeding the animals and playing on the swing set. They roamed around picking flowers and talking with the animals. Meanwhile my husband and i got to enjoy relaxing on the beautiful wrap around porch. The cottage was stocked with all the necessary things i needed with three little ones. jeff and Julie were always available for qustions or just a chat. The cottage was very clean and linens crisp. We will cerainly stay again at this lovely b&b!
