We just happened by this back from Penn Center, so we stopped to see what it was. The entire building is composed of ground shells & sand, called tabby. Looks like a church with a cemetery surrounded by iron fence….very hard to read the grave markers. It is what remains after a fire, pretty spooky but interesting.
Not much information on the site but definitely glad we stopped to walk around!

I'm glad I stopped here on way from Penn Center. There isn't much written information on site, but the remains of the chapel let you appreciate tabby construction. The abandoned graveyard contributes to the overall atmosphere; you can hardly read the inscription on the gravestones. This is a great play to take photos of old things.

Interesting old chapel. Built in the eighteenth century, destroyed in the late nineteenth by accident.

Amazing. It survived a fire and still looks flawless. The pictures you can take here! They have graves, some so old you can't read! So amazing! Go see it, not just drive by.

Chapel built in the 1700's -- very peaceful site and great for getting pictures of a historical building.
